Yeah non reduction.


Rodeo has a reduction on it. Didnt help that one of your tyres was flat on the back.

With the clutch check the slave on the box as well. If the car has been sitting the piston can gum or jamb up in the bore. Probably a good idea to pull of both the master and the slave and either kit them or replace them. Both can be bought new in the US. You can also get brake parts new fairly easy...

Wouldnt be the first time ive heard of a new dud battery. Ive also seen em with dud posts that are fractured down in the battery. What brand of battery?? how many cca? would that be a new battery or one of those reconditioned ones?? I have a jump starter pack thing here. On my rodeo it will start it...

That water valve thing opens when the motor is off to allow the water to flow naturally (hot water rises) through the turbo when the engine is off.


Just put a bit of hose on and bypass it.

The only one ive got here is a busted one. Thats out of 5 cars.

Ive got one here but its missin a knob. But id be reluctant to split it as its in the holder/surround with the equaliser.

I will have a look in the other car out the front and let you know what its got.

Ive got a new slave cyl here as a spare for my Piazza.
Theres a master cyl or two floating around as well. Not sure if any of them are any good.
