But is it a cost-effective excersize and will the performance gains be feasible? I think thats the main problem this poses. Reconditioning turbos generally costs around 1k, include machining of the housings to accept the larger wheels [eg. the comp wheel off the liberty] and the cost goes up slightl...

Also it's annoying having to drive with the windows down in the rain Yeah, the car introduced that to me on the first drive home. After breaking down about 15 times, i managed to get it going at a constant speed, cruising along at 120kmh on the freeway. By this stage i was soaked and my jeans were ...

Thing is, other items on the LHS control panel work bar anything related to the ventillation. The window washer/wiper switches work - unless these for some reason run on a different plug? I hate wiring, especially wiring in second hand cars - you never know whos been there and butchered it before yo...

Decided to get off my ass and have a look around... The cruise control appears to work, when switched on all corresponding lights on the dash etc turn on, so it has power. Also, speed control unit is connected so im assuming it would work if activated whilst driving. The ventillation on the other ha...

Nice spider webs :) LOL. Think of them like wrinkles - they add character :yawinkle: I think i might actually fill them, as soon as i get around to sorting out this plastic primer issue. The plastic primer ive got just runs/doesnt soak in/forms pools on the surface no matter how light you apply it....

Ventilation dramas/Cruise Control
Been playing around with the car lately and have been making a few discoveries, some which are not wanted. First being the ventillation system. Ive tried all the buttons, all the settings, turned it onto max speed and not a puff of air is coming out of the vents. Silence. No noise, no action. Any id...

To fill or not to fill?
Began some bodywork today, starting with the bumpers.
Whos for filling the seam and whos against it?
I think filling it will give it a smoother, one piece look, and its a very small amount so it wont crack. Anyone?

Your talking about the front springs being a pain in the ass right? The rears dont look too difficult, however the fronts havent budged even though ive dropped the ball joints on the spare x member. Aftermarket ones would be easier to fit right, being smaller in dimmensions? What did the custom spri...
