New forum sections

Yes i was bored again, probably due to the fact that i dont know where to start with the Piazza. Anyway.. Just thought of a new section that might make sence, maybe we could add a broader/more general Isuzu section? Most members seem to own other Isuzus - i know myself and Bugle have Geminis, Rodeob...

Sorry to be a pain in the ass Dave, but not only do i want more pics of both i want more details  What suspension parts/components are you running in the track car, in particular springs [or in the road car]. Im trying to hunt down a set of lowered, stiffer springs for mine and cant fin...

It shouldnt really cost more then $150, depends on what parts cost. I had the Valeo alternator rebuilt in the BMW including a new reg and a new Diode set and it cost that much, i just need to get off my ass and pull the alternator out so i can get a good look. Im starting with the interior first [ye...

Piazzas poor handling was due to a number of things, including the fact that 61% of the weight was over the front axle. This isnt the only problem though. Most FWD cars have that amount of weight over the front yet still handle good [que Honda Type R and JT Geminis] - it comes down to suspension set...

Funnily enough my engine needs the rocker cover gasket and i just enquired about one [2 days ago]. Go in and ask for a Holden Shuttle 4ZC1 rocker cover gasket - they dont list the 4ZC1 as Piazza in the parts book and they should be able to order it in. AutoBarn in epping said $16.50 and 2 days to ge...

APC Member profiles

Not sure if this is feasible but... Was looking through the APC website before, in particular the members cars sections. Now, im assuming to upload pictures and/or details of your Piazza to the website you would need to email all relevant stuff to Chris correct? Would it be possible to put a provisi...

Ill definately have a look at the RB one next time im at pick a part, i know 100% for certain that you can get regs and other bits and pieces to rebuild them as we did my aunties one a few years ago. Ill see if i can find anything usefull, including part numbers etc.

The only reason you would put the E1/D1 crank and rods etc into a C1 would be to get around the need for an engineers certificate. Another way around this is to simply get the E1 block restamped with the engine number from the C1. Illegal but common.

Reason im going red is because i dont really have the time to remove the engine, interior etc to respray the car a completely different colour. Besides, with the amount of wiring and shit crammed in the engine bay, im not sure i could do it. The paint should last well over 5years, and i probably wou...

If anything i feel the 4ZD1 alternator would be similar, its just i havent had the chance to have a proper look at it as yet. I thing Bob [Rodeobob] found an alternative, just hoping he stumbles accross this.

Paint job on the Gemini or the proposed paint job for the Piazza? Either way.. Gemini was done by a mate and his father, both have been responsible for some well known show cars out there. It cost me a fortune and unfortunately i wont be taking the same path with the Piazza. Paint is 2pack and Nissa...

My Piazza

Had posted this up but its been lost with the recent server dramas. Basically, ive always been a fan of Isuzu's being an avid Gemini nut. Ive owned 4 in the past 2 years, including one which is being rebuilt and turbocharged from scratch [see below]. It was only a matter of time before i succumbed t...
