Beautiful car. What on earth happened on the back end? I take it the taillights shorted and started a fire - I'm surprised the fuse didn't just blow!

If those markers on the front main pulley and the cam gear are lining up perfectly with the dots and 0deg markers, the engine's physically timed right. Personally, I'd tee a fuel pressure gauge in on either end of the rail - the pressure should be the same across it (unless you have a serious blocka...

!!!

That site has a listing for [Piazza-spec] Isuzu badges! Lachlan will be very interested. Maybe I won't have to make moulds after all.

Sounds to me like you've answered your own question mate - if it's leaking from the windscreen, then the rubber might need replacing or re-sealing. I'd talk to a windscreen mob... But it may be worthwhile trying to locate the leak first to be sure.

Unless you have giant rust holes? lol

Oh, and last point, I don't suppose the car has anything weird like an immobiliser? Did you have it running before? Mine was reeeally hard to start and ran funny, turned out it had an immobiliser that didn't actually immobilse it - just made it run kinda shit.

Re: Injector plugs, I'm fairly sure the Piazza would run batch-fire, correct me if I'm wrong, so they should all be squirting at the same time anyway, on a constant pulse that has nothing to do with injector timing. So (provided I'm right) I reckon you can rule that out. Cam timing is easy to confir...

Ahh, had a geeze (in passing) at an Isuzu throttle body tonight, I see the bit you mean, should be able to change it on the weekend! I've been flat out prepping for the next drift comp this Saturday! Cheers :) EDIT: Got it, now idling at a more reasonable 1000-1200 (memory pending). Still a touch hi...

I'd call the Koni distributor in Australia. They should be able to match you up with a shorter stroke shock. Koni's are rebuildable, but I'm not sure if they can change the extended lengths etc, might need a whole new shock for that. However, I will reiterate that oil shocks are incomparable to gas!...

Awesome news. The Piazza is back together. Putting the power steering pump back on was the absolute worst job, spanned a few days and resulted in a decent cut, monged fingernail, mini cuts all up both arms, and a bolt getting smashed with a hammer and sent flying to high heaven (never to be seen aga...

Sorted - CBC had to order it, but I picked it up and fitted it today. Made sure the oil pump was crazy clean too. Once I'd fitted the oil pump, I degreased the front of the block, individually degreased all the components I'd removed (basically everything on the front of the block). The timing belt ...

Here's hoping! I'd say so, though. If not I'll be tracking down the supplier of this part and biffing them with it lmao - but worst-case scenario I have a couple of old 4Z oil pumps buried deep within parts piles - so I could pinch their seals, or just run them instead (which would be a waste of mon...

HELL YES! I "think" I found it! ahahahahaha http://www3.picturepush.com/photo/a/8148171/640/8148171.jpg What's wrong with the oil pump in that picture! I didn't notice, because it was brand new, so I didn't give it a second glance... Plus, I've never had a 4Z before! ... ... ... ... ... .....
