Thanks for the replies guys. Sorry I take so long to respond - I'm just busy leading up to the next Stadium Drift event - but I really appreciate the input! Agreed on the turbo. I just want the engine to run right, or I'll convert it to aftermarket EFI. Well, started it and ran it in the driveway an...

Well, the novelty of "my Piazza runs" has been replaced with the standard frustrated suffix of "-like shit." Problems: - Doesn't seem to be making boost, maybe it's leaking, maybe the pop-off valve is playing up, maybe the ECU's just shitting bricks and running it crap - Somethin...

Update, IT RUNS! It was running on 3 the other day, turns out it's a loose electrical plug on the #1 injector. Jammed it on tighter today and it ran fine! So I'll have to fix it properly, then bed it in, hopefully tonight... However, in the process, I discovered #1 pot has 160psi cold, dry, pre-bed-...

My black forged Piazza

My image hosting site carked it, so I've made the Facebook album public. This may not be permanent, in case it falls into the wrong hands... But you can find the images here: IMAGES: https://www.facebook.com/eli.duykers/media_set?set=a.10150156369270903.337553.579150902&type=3 Hi everyone, Well,...

Awesome replies, thanks chaps! I'll have another crack at this soon, as soon as my Piazza's on the road, I'll need that body kit in order to look at it with any sense of pride... Tomorrow's the big turn-key. Theoretically. The immobiliser doesn't agree, but *derisive snort* he's not the boss of me. ...

Just digging up an ancient thread here, since it's relevant and may as well be in one place. Does anyone know how to remove the factory optioned front lip, and rear spoiler? I've been looking all over the front lip on the spares car, and can't for the life of me figure out how to get it off, without...

DISREGARD THIS - I just found a nifty post from ISU069 dating back to 2005 explaining what the following is/does. Thankfully my guesses were more or less correct. It's a vacuum and electronically controlled thermostat to cut off water supply through the turbo on a cold engine and/or when vacuum is p...

Elky's sorted me out for top radiator mounts, and I've improvised some bottom ones but it can't hurt to have originals (especially since they'd probably fit in an envelope). Actually, since posting this, also I cracked the shits and forced coolant lines to fit. It's probably not the best arrangement...

Basically, I slipped a Gemini manual fine spline tailshaft into the back of his gbox! Straight out of one of my 5spds! Heh - so AFAIK his is a Gemini box, or has had the guts converted. However, it already runs the push type clutch - obviously, to integrate with the hydraulic release system. So I'm ...

MEET the ISUZU 2012 on Youtube

Forgive me if this is a rrrrreeepost, but I don't think it is.

Terrible music. Awesome Japanese Isuzus. Including Piazzas! They're mostly arranged in blocks by model.

WTB - Anywhere - lots of little Piazza mechanical bits

Alright, I'm in pretty serious need of a few odds and sods. New or second hand, I don't care, as long as they're in reasonable condition: - Turbo oil return hose (the fat S-bend piece) - Radiator mounts - both the upper crazy bracket things, and the lower rubber washer things - Turbo coolant hoses, ...

Might want to try a WTB on OzGem too. Remember, you'll need a Piazza tailshaft, or an interchangeable spline, since your Piazza tailshaft seems to have a Gemini spline..

Aha! Thankyou sir! Mine doesn't have the bottom tensioner. Hrm... The air con tensioner looks like a different style/item to the power steering tensioner. I think I might have two of the p/steer tensioners. The plot thickens (again). At least this is "easy" compared to some of the other pr...
