Since Virtual-R 'aint replied to my PM's trying to get hold of the manual...

Here's the direct links to the above pics. It's just Imageshack being a pain:

Time to spill. I got the genuines from IPTOC. He was great to deal with. Also, I have no doubt whatsoever that they're genuine parts. Here's my report. This all applies to the driver's side (since both kinds of passenger mount were fine). The bush fit snug against the rack itself, where the superpro...

Heh, yeah, I've seen that one. I've been tempted, I think I need a 117 (and a Florian, and a Bellett) for my Isuzu collection, but to me, the 117 is, amongst other things, at least one of three vital points: - One of the first Japanese mass-produced cars to be EFI - One of the first mass-produced sp...

I reckon the sender for the digi dash will be the same. It'll have some kind of capacitor or "slower" unit to dull its response so it's not spastic jumping all over the place... but I'd imagine it will "effectively" do the same thing during a test, provided everything's good. Ano...

Good stuff - I'm now in contact with him, confirming which bushes will suit my car and taking it from there. Sounds like it'll all come good, without me having to lathe up any custom polyurethane.

Blast! Holden said they're no longer made, and there isn't any in stock throughout Australia! However, interestingly, he said that Holden only had a listing for one particular "shape" of bush - which doesn't seem to line up with the part numbers listed above. I'm inclined to believe there ...

Don't suppose anyone has an original Holden part number? My Superpro's have now been returned. I have pics and measurements of them for reference, though. And Superpro were useless to deal with :( lol, Peter, that took me a minute. I must be getting slow. A current source might speed things up. 2A -...

Wedgenut, interesting, fairly sure mine is towards the 1986 end of things. The OEM bushes seemed to have more meat on the "edges" on the driver's bush, and more of a wedge shape on the edges to "jam it on." This one just doesn't quite seem wide enough. I didn't have time last nig...

Go on www.ozgemini.com and track down a guy called Gemracing. He makes T2 and T3 turbo headers for G series engines. I'd advise getting a T2 manifold from him, then fitting a T28bb or GT2860/GT2871RS (depending on application). From there you'll want to go an aftermarket EFI system and consider forg...

Cheers for the part number. I ordered them, and picked them up today. Tried to fit them, but it looks like my smooth-sailing project has run out of luck and hit a point of annoyance. The SuperPro bushes allow for a ton of side to side movement. Their shape seems about right, and they fit well enough...

Current source for steering rack bushes?

Hey guys, I'm chasing some new steering rack mounting bushes before I put an engine in. I know this has been partially covered before, but the local Sprints didn't have a listing (they only checked the Nolathane book) and I'm thinking a brand/part number/retailer might get me there a lot faster. I t...

"gemracing" on OzGemini.com makes them, they're around $550 if memory serves, but mandrell-bent and of very good quality with big piping, highmount or lowmount available. Also try ebay, I saw some on there for about $380 I think it was, a little while ago. All shiny and stuff. Not quite as...
