Yeah Australian Piazzas are hydraulic, not sure when Japan changed over but i've seen photos of G200 Piazzas with cables. However US G200Z impulses were hydraulic. I assume this is because the clutch pedal is in the right place to mount the master cylinder on LHD models. Then they later figured out ...

Maybe the older boxes never ran hydraulic clutches as standard so they never had to worry about slave cyl mounting and those holes being equal distances from the fork?

This is the dash and centre console mounting bracket, it needs the lower mounting holes moved further up, either by cutting the bottom of it then flattening the bottom edges of those holes in the middle of it and redrilling the mounting holes, or by cut and shut welding. http://starlyon.com/bugle/pi...

Depends what you prefer, i'd rather the shifter feels solid and clicky, rather than feeling like i'm shifting a FWD car cable shifter. Although the linkage bushes were a bit worn out on my original one which would've contributed to it.

Will get some pics of the interior bits.

I beat up my tunnel a bit, seems the tunnel goes high then slopes down slighty as it goes toward the firewall, so I had to beat it up at the front to make it more horizontal where the shifter goes. Making the clearance on the left side was easy enough. This creates 2 problems above. There's a mount ...

Found someone who made a turbo oil feed off that hole on a G series engine and they say it's 1/8" BSP so it's likely to be the same on a 4Z.

About that oil fitting I assume it's the same as the oil pressure switch thread? Looking at the Tridon catalog they list that as being a "1/8 GAS" thread, another name for 1/8" BSP i think. Part TPS016 here http://www.tridon.com.au/Products/Product.aspx?SG=8&S=35&G=483&P=2...

On mine there's a water gallery running through the manifold from the thermostat to between cyls 3/4 where a pipe exits the bottom and that is then hooked up to the pipe that runs across the back of the engine, so aslong as it comes out of the inlet manifold side of the thermostat it'll do. There's ...

There's a pipe that bolts to two of the top bellhousing bolts and goes from under the intake manifold across to the other side of the engine. Then that pipe along with the one in the picture going to the back of the block are connected to the heater core. The two pipes also have a small heater core ...

They probably have the same spline but the V6 and diesel each have their own bell housings so they won't bolt to 4Z engines.

The rattles are normal, read a review of the Piazza when they were new! Mine had dash squeaks going over bumps. Rear end might be suspension bushes, are they ok? The lower arm to body bush broke on one side of mine sending the arm off to the side to rub on the arm mount. The R12 replacement is calle...

DOT5 is silicone fluid, don't use that
DOT4 is fine, can you even get DOT3 anymore since 4 is backward compatible?

Yeah the problem was you got the relay out of another Piazza! They always get smashed by the battery because hardly anyone with a Piazza believes in Newton's laws of motion. Fix the coolant thing? The sensor is in the overflow bottle, so the radiator can be full but it requires the overflow bottle t...

I have been hacking away at my alloy housing to build my own shifter assembly, but I am stuck with getting that linkage arm/ball off the shaft. I could use a little advice in that area... It has a roll pin inside a roll pin to lock it onto the shaft, you'll need to make a punch for each size, or ma...

It would be good if Koni listed compressed and extended lengths on their website. How can we figure out what shocks to get if we can't get the specs anywhere? Seems to be the same story for every shock absorber manufacturer.
