Cool thanks for the info. I am aiming to run around 250 - 300hp through a fairly fresh standard bottom end using an aftermarket ecu, rodeo intake manifold, skyline turbo, etc. I think the bottom end should take it fine but I wanted to get your guys opinion.

Yeah, I have checked out the full steering lock issue and by the looks of it it will just miss the control arms. Once again I will have to wait until I get it all on properly and on the ground to find out for sure. The kit comes with the tabs to weld on. As far as mounting the calipers, I have bough...

Yeah your right Nick. 15 inch is the minimum. I had it in my head that my wheels were the smallest you can go. The link shows the kit that I bought and some info on it. http://www.hoppers.com.au/300gemini.pdf Bob, I am not sure about how the standard bearings compare to the commodore ones. The hubs ...

Brake Upgrade

Hey guys. I am doing a brake upgrade on my Piazza and this is what I have found so far. I purchased a Hopper Stoppers brake upgrade kit to suit a Gemini. The kit includes commodore 300mm discs, twin piston calipers, custom hubs, brake lines bearings, etc... I have test fitted the kit to one side of ...

I was told it did, maybe not.... It would have to have a coil wouldnt it?? What provides the high energy spark? Have you got any pics of the ignition setup on a rodeo?? I will be using it on the piazza motor with a custom ecu, and I dont want to run the magnetic pickup as found on the piazza. Thanks...

I am after a 2.6L Rodeo electronic dizzy with coil and igniter. Also after Rodeo inlet manifold, complete with injectors, fuel rail etc.

Yeah the standard boost controller was hooked up. I dont really think it does much as I have tested it with and without on the road and I couldnt notice any difference.

Seems like 10 psi is about the max that you can safely run on a standard engine with standard ecu. Maybe a touch higher you could get away with. The exhaust made a big difference when I got it done, would be even better if it was turbo back. It is interesting to look at the boost curve, when I had i...

Dyno Graphs

Hey all. I got my Piazza dyno'd today and here are the results. The blue graph is how I took the car into the dyno shop, running 13-14 psi. The power and torque curve look good, 117kw at the wheels not too bad, but the mixtures were reading 14:1 at full load the whole way through the rev range. Not ...

I had my steering rack replaced (not reco'd) with a spare one I had at a place called Adam R.H & Sons at Padstow. They were really good and I am pretty sure they will do reco's as well.
