Thanks guys :D the car is filthy here but that's been the least of my worries. Once I wash it and lower the front end it will start looking alright. I reckon that was an Autospeed article, they rated the Piazza cooler up to 200kw, but it seems that might have been a bit (very) generous. I hadn't tho...

Wow, I just stumbled across this whilst searching for stuff... 6 years later. What a beautiful Gemini. I'm doing my white TE in a very similar fashion (externally), but with ZZ/R splitter airdam, and a black front lip underneath. And Work Equip 01s. Inside I'm more of a fan of era-correct stuff thou...

It's been a few weeks and it sounds like the car was a bit of a nightmare for the poor blokes working on it. Standard Tar...

Hey again, sorry for the slack reply. I think I'm juggling too many things these days - a few Facebook pages, a million cars, full time job, etc. In the search for response, I definitely hope it will have torque. For the sake of turbo cars, I generally put them under the same umbrella. The exciting ...

Well, the turbo situation has changed somewhat. Turns out one of my "GT2860 disco potato" turbos was just a T28 from an S14 Silvia. Would explain why I got it so cheap. So, I dug up another "GT2860 disco potato" which was indeed as it claimed - however upon further inspection the...

Good to hear an endorsement for the Falcon springs. I've done some homework and they sound good. I believe Ausdel Piazza front springs to be around 4kg/mm, HBL are 7kg/mm. Standard Falcon un-cut springs are 5.71kg/mm, Falcon King Springs being 6.88kg/mm. I have no idea how much will need to be cut o...

I might try disconnecting the old ECU once I get the car back, although I'm mostly going for a "minimal modification" type setup, even if I never intend on going back to factory gear. I mentioned the oil light to Anthony (Cece), the guy who runs the dyno place. He said he'll monitor it, an...

Howdy again, sorry for the radio silence, it's been a crazy... however long. Absolute rush getting everything ready in time. I'm just going to pose a quick question before I get sidetracked: - Oil pressure warning light is now flashing once started. It has oil in it, it sounds fine, and I haven't to...

Hahaha yeah those racquets are great fun. Do they still hit mozzies? I would have thought they'd be too small, and I've only tried on big stupid blowflies. I saw an instructional video for a redneck mozzie zapper that looks the goods - get a box fan, tightly fix fly screen to the exit-side, leave it...

Hey again! Sorry for the slow reply. I read your posts on Saturday night but didn't have time to write a decent response. I've sourced the Microtech's main +12V from the old injector output on the "Main" relay. I'm hoping that this will be on at all times that the ignition is "On"...

Thanks again for the added info! I actually just got the Piazza manual yesterday! I tried a few years ago but something went amiss and it fell in the too-hard-basket. But I spent last night pilfering through it and found some handy stuff. I've updated my original post label legend to reflect my curr...

For a [potentially] limited time only, here's the build pictures for my Piazza. I usually keep Facebook stuff set to private in case it falls into the wrong hands, but image hosting is a pain in the butt these days... so, enjoy: https://www.facebook.com/eli.duykers/media_set?set=a.10150156369270903....

Hey Peter! Thanks for the reply, I was hoping you might see this :cyclops: The wires at my module all seem to be solid colours as pictured, rather than striped, however I will trace them back to the main loom, it's quite possible they change colours. It's bloody cold in the Adelaide hills at the mom...

Coil/ignitor wiring for Microtech conversion

Howdy lads. It's been too long between drinks. My Piazza's Microtech conversion is coming along real well, but the last few wires to sort out are the ignition module/coil wires. I've got a pretty good understanding of how the Microtech works, but I'm still hazy on the Piazza's ignition module wires....

Ahh I can't believe I missed that, could have sworn I searched for it without success, but now I'm finding lots. I picked up my pump from the workshop the other day (exactly as I left it), the model number is DKS15G. I've found one on eBay that says it's DKS17G and it looks identical: http://www.eba...
