The power steering pump is easy, its the power steering rack you need to watch out for. A nightmare to remove with the engine OUT, cant imagine doing it on a car with the engine still in it.

That or bits of the exhaust wheel from the turbo are kicking back in the dump pipe/cat/exhaust.

On the Piazza its mounted to the pass side shock tower - unmissable, especially with that springy clamp bullshit on the body meaning you can yank the thing around abit.

As above, wasnt paying attention when i ripped everything off and the dickheads @ Bursons told me OH THEY ONLY NEED TWO OF EM whem im pretty sure they need three. Can anyone show me the fanbelt arrangement on the 4ZC1 T's and which pulley goes to where? Im sure i could work it out but im a lazy fuck...

Got a good one, not reco'd - its off an auto so all you need to do is block up the tranny auto lines with bolts. Pressure tests are free so if you want you can take it there before you buy it. $50 sound ok? Alternatively, ive heard that the VL Commodore core is the same so it might pay to recore it ...

Havent tried moving the boost yer but that will be my port of call. Sounds like the problem though, because it wont budge AT ALL.

Alex, did you find it was abit hard to pull out, in particular around the brake booster area? Its as tight as a fucking drum, doesnt budge at all without any bolts un done.

I know how to slide single spinners, been doing it since i was 15 so its not new to me. Just alot more predictable in an LSD.
