So the deleted LSD would've been standard for all auto XE's in Japan as well?
Wonder why they did that..

Using the spacer method would probably give a shorter throw side to side but won't do anything for forward/back movement. Should be easier with the Piazza though. It has the gear stick with the pivot ball just have to add some extra length to the bit under the pivot ball which attaches to the linkag...

here are a couple of other traps to watch out for. The corrugated rubber hoses holding the hatch wires, if they split water seeps back into the roof cavity and drips down from under the roof lining rear trim, If you don't think it is them then take out the hatch hinges (one at a time is manageable)...

I'm doing the Gemini at the moment, just have to fix the rust first! Stripping paint on large areas an orbital sander works well with 80 grit sandpaper. Recently got a sand blasting gun since they only cost like $20. Works well but sand gets everywhere. Great for bits with places that are hard to ge...

You should use a standard AFM or else it could be sending the wrong signal to the ECU. One AFM may be outputting 4v while another may be outputting 3v for the same amount of air flow. You'd probably have to run a jaycar fuel adjuster if you were to use anything other than a standard one. Most 80s AF...

Yeah that's what most people say because Holden claimed it to have Bosch L-Jetronic which is an analogue setup. It actually has an ECU made by Japanese Electronic Control Systems (JECS) and is definitely a digital microcomputer. Oxygen sensor is only used in part throttle cruise conditions to keep t...

Another way fuel can be adjusted is by actually changing the fuel map in the ECU. I've had a look inside the Piazza ECU before but the microcontroller had JECS printed on it hiding the identity of the thing. Yesterday at the wreckers thought i'd investigate what 80s Nissans were running. Had a look ...

Nah it seems to be an Isuzu 117 Coupe box. Place I got it from said they imported it from Japan, it's got the 10 spline and came with a remote shifter similar to Piazza except the stick is about 50mm forward of the Piazza stick. Has the same ratios as the Piazza turbo box. Also has the alloy sandwic...
