also consider vacuum hose leaks and check the intake tubing for cracks and whatnot. maybe bad o2 sensor?

theres good parts swapping from the 2.6 that are upgrades - larger runner intake manifold, bigger TB and MAF. aftermarket performance ignition coils, Magnecor wires, Fidanza flywheel are still available.

2.3 crank in a 2.6 block for a high reving screamer. at one time I used all the data I had available to deduce a rod length. I don't have my notes atm but I recall the rod ratio exceeding 2.0 - possible combo to approach 10k rpm? I dunno, just throwing it out there. getting tired of not seeing any n...

I thought overseas JRs had larger front brakes than US cars. or was it just in Europe? calipers/pads were same as our 1G utes.

*fyi I am willing to ship service parts that may be hard to get or too expensive.

keep it, ditto for the steel flywheel.
isn't the stock flywheel absurdly heavy? I recall someone posting on Isuzone a ways back that it was in the neighborhood of 20 lbs!

I just took delivery of a box from Fidanza - 8.5 lbs of aluminum. :happy7:
