I fitted the box, unfortunately the quadrant box hits the tunnel when the gearbox crossmember is about 5mm lower than it should be, so i'm going to have to pull the box back out and hammer the tunnel a bit in that area. It is also a complete pain in the arse lifting this gearbox onto the jack while ...

The HBL metal clamps look a fair bit different to the originals I don't think the originals would work anyway. I wonder why they had to go change the plug too... There's actually something left of the rubber gasket? Every tail light i've got has a few remaining chunks of it after it has gone rock ha...

On the vacuum line going from the plenum I noticed it looks like there's a one way valve in it at the point where it's over the top of the engine, that little white in-line cylinder. The BOV needs to get both pressure and vacuum on that line to function properly. OMG did I just see a ghost. Bugle i...

They do have a switch on the clutch aswell, the box one is just to make it foolproof. I checked the MUA reverse and it was normally closed, pretty sure i checked the MSG one too and it was the same. I'm surprised you're keeping cruise though, wouldn't the actuator get in the way of the massive turbo?

Looks like there's a fair bit of room above there, I measured the height of the shifter on mine it's 48mm. The problem with the cruise neutral switch is that the switch gets pushed on the original when you go into neutral and on the MUA shifter it has a notch in the shaft which releases the button w...

I will try and pry off the plastic access panel and have a look. The issue still remains that its quadrant is much taller than yours or the stock unit. I'll measure the height of mine then see how much clearance there is to the floor when i've installed it so you'll be able to figure out if the hig...

The ball holder came from an RB Holden Gemini which is the Australian version of the US JT I-Mark. Had to cut the excess off and machine it down then screw it to an alloy plate. I had already made the gear stick a while ago as a direct replacement for the original gear stick but then I got the MUA. ...

Another way to do the shifter without modifying the box is to take the pivot ball holder off the original MUA shifter and make a whole new shifter. I really didn't want to have to re-use the original sloppy shifter. There seem to be 2 types of shifter, mine came with the one with the steel housing f...

The one on the manifold isn't a blowoff valve, it's an overboost valve. It won't make any difference whether it's there or not unless you want to run boost higher than the opening point of the overboost valve. Also is that a one way valve on the line that goes to the top of the BOV? That needs to fl...
