Save our home!

Well one year ago we where looking for a host because our old host was stuffed up.. One year later it seems to happen to us again.
Our host
www.takethishost.com.au is gone.. Their phone is disconnected and no emails are replyed.. Also i checked the support forum and people are trying to sue the host for their loss (Check it out).
So their is the question I have asked the admin and mods, should we keep the website alive? Answer was YES..
TO do this, i have to back up everything and find a new and better host.. Some reason it is true, cheap hosts are crap and unreliable so we have to move up.. This domain and hosting service will expire by the middle of this month so it is important to backup everything we have and find a new host by than. That also means money..
So who ever hasnt donated yet or is keen to see this website/ forum being alive please donate into our paypal donation account.

Well guys, the website is going down this month. I made back ups of everything so if anyone ever wants to reopen this website in the future contact me on 0428262320 and i will gladly give you the backups.

Well if it isnt too difficult, so that we can all keep in contact, maybe place an email or phone number list on here that we can all copy down (with each member's permission of course).

How much money is needed for a decent host? If we knew the target cost we could at least pass the hat around before it all goes toes up. By far the majority of members are Oz based but I'm sure the few of us over here would be interested in helping if the call goes out and everyone puts a little in to save any individual or a few haviing to carry the burden.

cant do credit card transactions at the moment chris (paypal). So if you can organise an account where we could DD I could trying and help out a little. Even if everyone put in $10 that should be enough, shouldnt it...

Well i got an email back today from than.
Hi Chris
We have sent you two renewal notices about your hosting and domain renewal but didn?t get any response.
Your hosting account has also expired yesterday (05/10/06). Please make a payment of $119.88 by choosing any of the payment methods given at the following URL:

So question is paying $120 to them for another year or go through all this bullshit again and finding a new host.
I always prefer paypal as it makes it easyer to pay them cunts. But I can transfer from my bank account into paypal
