the u.k finally recognise the piazza as a classic

Post by graham »

in the u.k we have a car mag called practicle classics this months issue has a feature on the piazza, its clive's car they have used (clive being 1 of the main men in iptoc) its good to see that it has now been recognised as a classic instead of the never ending line of mg's and hillman's etc, although it was dissapointing to see that the current figures suggest there are only approximatly 10 to 15 cars left in a drivable state in the whole country and about 40 to 50 still registered with the vehicle licencing authority i think its going to be a lot harder for me to get 1 than i first thought, never mind theres still the option of raiding the hibiscus coast i understand theres a certain driveway in a certain street in stanmore bay n.z that has too many piazzas so probably wont miss 1 if it gets liberated from there and starts a new life in stirlingshire
I have two piazzas, one on each side of the world.

good news to hear bout classic status not no great numbers still running

shit it is going to be pot luck finding one huh....

think you would have to fight alot of people to get to one of the mentioned cars!!!

that and there is a lass by the name of QYKCHK that has taken a liking to a certain blue nero!

i'm havin enough trouble hiding the keys to my turbo so she cant nick off with it!

well the old git errr i mean nice mr wedgie said if i can get it home and legalise it or if im being technical homologate it for u.k use i can have 1 i think it would be real fun to tell the old man to run one down to auckland docks and stick it on a boat to scotland  considering the short numbers of good clean running examples left in the u.k it might be the only option
