Any updates on the forums? as to whats happening, been hanging out for a couple of months (3-4-5 now)

No. Word only this week was "still working on it".
Maybe we should collectively hit the ACCC?

Ooops - international - I forgot...
The ACCC is the Aussie Competition & Consumer Commission. Upon complaint, they investigate anti-competitive behaviour, price fixing etc.
They can also handle customer complaints - like being denied service etc.
Since Poida has denied us continued service...
They can be pretty good - they made DVD Regionalisation and PayPal-only for eBay etc illegal in Australia.
If Poida's "new host" was covered by the ACCC, I reckon they'd be in trouble!

Does anyone there have someone they can put me into contact with on the twincam forum?
I've registered, but I never got the activation email, tried emailing again but the activation email never comes through?
