Bad shit happens to bad people and me

Post by Chris »

So obvisly I still havn't got the white Piazza from Cairns yet. It's been a month now since I have kept my part of the bargain and brought him the ZH. Funny thing though, when I had to leave his car behind in Prosperpine because the box blew, 2 weeks later I got a phone call from RACQ where the Fairlane was parked at, telling me the garbish collectors truck reversed into that Fairlane of he's and total it. haha

Anyways, I have been calling him every week and hear the same story, can't get the box in mechanic is to expensive, I have to see... bubbles bubbles..

So what should I do? Sew him? Ask for the ZH back? Ask for my money??

Pay his local Hells Angels gang a few bucks to go ask him to resolve the issue. I'm sure after a full and frank exchange of views he will come around fairly promptly

Bite the bullet and either go get the Fairlane back or go up and trailer/freight the Piazza back.

Either way its a curly one.

Chris,

Is he acctually spending time working on the piazza or is he working on the ford?

Because you are so far away he could tell you what ever and not be doing it. Ring up QLD rail or a truck company and see what it would cost to get it here then fix it.

Well I still havnt heard about him. I also suspect that he thinks that if I dont live near by what can i do and he couldnt care less. Like I said it is a sticky situation.

Regarding some seguestions:

1. I dont have mates who would help me this is due to that I have recenlty (8 month ago) moved from melbourne to Brisbane. Most people I have met wher esumoens or ozzie rednecks. I always seem to have problems making mates easy as I look more for the no matter what I be their mate what I used to have.

2. I dont have a towing car. We have a mitsu Sigma hear which wouldnt even tow a dingi downhill and myn is a magna without towbar. Last Piazza I have towed ended up nearly deadly. So unless I would have a 4x4 or a heavie car I wouldnt try this again. (More infos on my cardomain page)

3. I am german and most people think germans are fuck wits but dont reallize we inveted most beers, pretzels and cars. :finga:

Well unless somebody offers to come with me for a weekend roadtrip with a car that would toe it (Expense all on me) i either have to go to court which will end up costing more than the car is worth or have to say fuck it $2000 wasted oh well..

Germans also invented some good sausage too chris.

See if you can get a "back load" from a trucking company to get it down here. I have a irmscher auto gearbox and stall converter here that I would like to see what the difference is like.

I asked about a load from melbourne the other week for a car and it was going to cost me $1000. But that wasnt a back load just straight up. Ring the car carriers and see if they can squeeze it on anytime. Might work out cheaper than driving up and back with a trailer.
Check out my stuff again. got to go dont want to toss it in the bin. please buy it.

I though about train and truck but I rang the train transport and they told me if the car doesnt drive they wont take it as they will need to shift it around and always put it into gear while transport so I didnt bother asking a truck company.

They might be better. the car I was asking about was a rolling shell no motor or box and limited interior needing paint. they said no worries they just chain it down so it wont move.

Then when it gets here they just transfer it to a tilt tray stright ff the back of the truck. just needed a streering column connected.

"Der rechts und links blinker" would do.

Der=The
rechts= right
und= and
Lnks= left
blinker= Indicator

German is somewhat quite similar to the english language in many ways except the germans are more defined when it comes to espressing words such us "THE" in english could be Female, Male or Object and german we have DER DIE DAS, = Male Female, Object and german is suppost to be alot harder when it comes to past present future... I never thought about this stuff as I have been living in OZ now since 5 1/2 years and speak better english than german. When I talk to other family parts over in Berlin/Germany I keep on Stuttering or mixing english with german But I guess most not born Wogs, Migrants do that. I am not talking about asians here as I do believe they dont deserver a drivers license... (I am not a racist nazie) but it is my own observation, in every country I have been to the asians just cant drive for shit and rather should be driving bycycles or those push around thingys

You forgot the most important thing. The Autobahn. Oh yeah and realy perverted porn with ugly old women.

My mum is dutch. They invented clogs and dykes. Now thats some clever shit. lol.

Sounds complicated.
I think a road trip is in order. Dont go up too tow it back. Id ring up there and sort out for a mechanic to refit the box. Its probably cheaper that the extra petrol and the trailer and a car to pull it.

Take someone up with you and drive the piazza back. Get the car towed to the mechanic and fixed either before you go or when you get there. Either way it wouldnt take more than an arvo to refit a gearbox. Providing that the guy hasnt stuffed something. And tell the dick wad that you bought it off that he has to pay half of what the mechainic charges. Its either that or he has it ready to drive back when you get there. and you set the date.

Cheers. Bob.
