finally the gearbox conversion is over!!! well nearly heres how i went.

firstly i had to get her off the ground.

removal of the Automatic gear was pretty easy until i reached the peddal box. i never realised how much of the car i had to pull apart just to get the peddals in and out but here is the finished product of the peddals

after the peddals went in i took the car of the road for what i thought was going to be two weekends at the most, boy was i wrong.
the gearbox nearly fell of once i found the starter motor bolt that was holding it on, but i lost two days trying to get the Automatic spiget bearing off the back of the motor. had to make a slide hammer the good old bush mechanic way. got a solid bar of metal welded a lip on it, drilled a hole in the other end for a pin(10m bolt) and the head of a sledge hammer over the bar to hit the bolt with.
here is a pic of the tool.

i hace some closeups if anybody wants a better look.

sorry i took so long!!

but yes it did, there was a plate bolted from the inside. 2 nuts and a push with my finger and it was out. Master cylender bolted straight in and the bolt hole for the bracket where the rubber hose starts was there 2. I was suprised to find in the electrical loom the plug for the cables coming of the gearbox, thought i would have to manually wired in.

the only thing i realy had to modify was the cables fron the automatic shifter. used a test lamp to buzz out the 2 that start the car and wired in a switch and off i went.
