i just bought this piazza for $1000 and i was going to do an engine swap. upon consideration of the scarcity of the piazzas in Aus in particluar i decided to fix her up and drive it! :D

Aim to modify:
auto to Manual gearbox
fix power steering issues
renew water/coolant seals on turbo (new turbo?)
fix up body and respray
fit my 16" ROH rims from my TC gemi:

Glad to hear it.

I did get offered to buy a Piazza from SA the other day, no motor no front brakes. I think it was on the Gemini forums. If youve got the room its a handy supply of parts.

The only thing you might find will be that you can use a little higher profile on the 16's to make them look better on the Piazza.

195/60/14 is about the same size tyre as the std 13 on a Gemini.
It converts to about a 195/50 in a 15".
Ive got 205/60/15's on the back of my Piazza and im seriously considering swapping to bigger than the 195/50's that ive got on the front. I wont be able to make the call as to what will fit till i put the front bumper back on after i do up the front suspension.
Ive got a pair of new 195/55's here and also a pair of good used 195/60/15.

Yeh so what im sayin is that those wheels on your Piazza might have the little tyre look.

Seems our little Gemini owning friend got a little over-enthusiastic. Car is still in my driveway, and havent heard from him at all. :(
