Hi there Piazzish,
What a little ripper of a coupe and yet another example of the Piazza style being so far ahead of the rest.
Where did you come across this picture mate? I guess it is a magazine article, and I reckon it would really appeal to site member Eyecon who so obviously knows his design. So theres a challenge for eyecon then, get your artistic juices working on the Isuzu Sunny. Thanks for putting the pictures up, sbs.

Pics are good. I have probably collected a few, otherwise I'd be screaming for them.
But new things like the above topless appear... wow! (Thanks Piazzish!)
IMO it's never bad posting pics - unless they have been posted before.
And funny how the topless rear reminds me of the 4200R... Maybe I should link or post some pics of that?

Re: Sunny Impulse
Still trying to work out if I like this concept. I guess if it hasn't grabbed me by now it is a fail for me it it's current form. What annoys me the most is that there is no picture showing me what it looks like with the top up. I suspect it probably looks ugly with the top up, which might be the reason why there is no picture of it. Besides, I don't know about you guys, but I'd be embarrassed if I had a car called Sunny...pewwk. Isn't there a Datsun Sunny? I would have prefered names like Piazza CCT, or Piazza C2000, or some other foreign sounding chic name:)sbs wrote:Hi there Piazzish,

But note how I didn't say the convertible concept car could not be redesigned.
Isuzu Piazza Sunny.
Hi there Eyecon, So this little coupe fails in your book - fair enough, it is a free world. I think you said in one of your letters on this site that you work for Holdens in some capacity, so what does it take for a car company to give the go ahead for a new car design? Their was a Holden Effigy concept coupe doing the rounds a few years ago and everyone raved about it, but no sign of it going into production. I reckon the Chrysler company have well and truly proved that their is room for retro vehicles with some of its offerings in later years and 'good on them' I say. How goes your design work on an updated Holden Piazza ? I would be interested to see your work in progress. Best wishes, sbs.
