Hi!
My car got the US-style front lamps, and I Need the panel/trim right under the lamps...
I think this part is going all the way under the grille. Guess its a "hard to get" part..
Anyone ?

Yes I found it hard when I was looking for an '88-'89 grille infill panel, which I believe to be slightly different to the earlier version. If you're not already a member of Isuzone go on there for starters and keep an eye out for cars that are parting out.

I've now got the grille to go with the late model slim line quadlights. Now I'm just waiting on that infill panel and an '88-'89 bonnet to arrive via shipping container early next year. In your case I think your infill panel would need to be flown over from the states, but is a long piece and might be pricey to courier over, as Wedgenut will attest to when I first asked him. In fact I think he has what you're looking for. Try him first.

The entire grille is different with the quadlight with eyelids, that panel that goes under the lights is moulded as part of the grille.

Just get one couriered from the US, shouldn't be hard to find as every single impulse before 88 had it. Fedex was around $150 if I remember correctly to get a rear wing to Australia which would be about the same size package, I think Europe would be cheaper?

Bugle, thank you very much for the advice/information!
Don't know much about the part, because I bought the car without it. Ill put up a post on Isuzone and see if anyone there has it ;)

I do Have a complete undamaged quadlight grille but I need to qualify that a bit. The later model Piazzas with no eyelids had really skinny quadlights compared to the standard quadlights and I DON"T KNOW IF THE GRILLE PANEL IS THE SAME ON BOTH OR NOT...

everything is for sale at the right price but the problem is shipping. I have been down this track before and the length of the grille panel exceeds our normal post office limits so it has to go by courier such as Fedex or DHL and the cost is over the moon.

I took one complete with headlights to the UK a couple of years ago as excess baggage and that wasn't too bad but otherwise it isn't economic.

Find a friendly tourist heading this prepared to carry it back for you and it may be viable.

Piazzish, not sure if you already located the grille assembly, but if you haven't try this link:

Wedgenut put me onto this site when I was looking for something else, and then I found this and was thinking of you. Hope this helps. Thumbs up to Wedgy for finding this site. It's freakin awesome for locating new genuine parts.

!!!

That site has a listing for [Piazza-spec] Isuzu badges! Lachlan will be very interested. Maybe I won't have to make moulds after all.
