Mate, good luck. I spent the past month or so searching for one with no luck. Your best bet would be to get it rebuilt, which is what I had to do. You can get the synchros made up at a transmission specialist for not a hell of a lot (I think I paid about $60) but the labour is what'll kill you. The other option would be to buy a 2nd hand piazza and transplant it.

Or buy a 2.3L Rodeo or 2L Shuttle bus and pinch the box out of that. Chances are it will be just as stuffed.

You could also fit in a box out of a TF 2.6L Rodeo. Only drama is the shifter. It basically bolts straight in and its a lot stronger.

Where the shifter bolts onto the box is a different shape.

On the Piazza etc MSG box the face for the shifter hole sloped back toward the input shaft.

On the Rodeo MUA box the bit the shifter bolts to is flat and parallel to the shafts in the box. The bolt up pattern for the shifter is different and the Rodeo remote shifter is 4+ inches shorter than the Piazza one.

The rest is the same, the bellhousing, the input shaft, the tail shaft and the speedo drive. The box is physically a little bigger round the midriff, its like an MSG gearbox with a beer gut.

i fit the 2.6 rodeo box to my 2lt and have had no problems, i admit i got the mechanic to fit it and it still lands inside the console. the ratios are a little shorter but the box cost me $300 and $200 to fit itan know it drives like a dream.
