Fellas, im getting no spark on my motor. got a timing light on #1 cyl, turn the key, starter engages and turns motor, but no spark is produced hence engine doesnt fire... connections seem ok, from ignition switch, knock sensors (to and from) and instrument wire... found that the black (26A) fusible wire was dodgy, so replaced, other 3 red (13A i think) wires seem ok, (ie dont stretch when pulled) any ideas?

No ideas, its obviously in a Gemini. Who knows whats been done to the wiring.

The start signal wire is a comon wire to the starter and the ECU thru the start solenoid.
As is the ignition power wire thru the main realay.
Tach signal returns to the ECU Knock and TCS from the coil.

Before getting to deep into dark territory do all the basic ignition fault finding checks, power source to coil, wiring connections etc. Ignition faults are usually something very simple.

AHA! I guess it must have been a brown wire then LOL.

No surprise there, shite connections were standard equipment on Isuzu, dry joints and over strained wires were optional extras.

Another thing they are famous for is diodes, never seen a car with as many diodes in every bloody circuit. They must have ordered millions by mistake and decided to use them up.
