Hey all,

My air con pump/compressor is leaking. I've taken it to a shop and they've told me it'll cost $900 to have it "remanufactured" because they can't find a replacement.

First of all, does anyone know the model number on the green sticker on the back? Mine's at the shop so I don't have access to it. I'm running a 4ZC1-T.

Secondly does anyone know if the Piazza item is interchangeable with any other Isuzu motors? Will this one fit?

Thirdly, does anyone know where I could get a brand new pump, or mine rebuilt, for less? I want a lasting solution, not another second hand one that's going to kick the bucket in a year!

Assuming the US Impulse compressor is the same that would be your best bet, there are reco ones on Ebay for less than $200USD including shipping

Ahh I can't believe I missed that, could have sworn I searched for it without success, but now I'm finding lots.

I picked up my pump from the workshop the other day (exactly as I left it), the model number is DKS15G. I've found one on eBay that says it's DKS17G and it looks identical:

I'll have a closer look tomorrow, but can anyone tell me if DKS15G and DKS17G are the same? Or if these should work?
