Broken plastic bits quite common but haven't had a window fall down because of it. You could make a new bit out of UHMWPE or similar and it would lst for ever. Do you mean the windows are tipping forward because the clips don't keep the slider on the track?

Nope, windows are sliding straight down into the door as if im opening them. Excuse the ignorance but what is UHMWPE?

If they are slidin right down it sounds more like a cabkle problem or motor gear perhaps. Even with no plastic at all the window cant move up and down unless the cable moves. i think you are looking at the wrong bit. I have a couple somewhere, one without a motr so if you get stuck i can probably assist.

Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene. white shit they make chopping boards out of. tougher than Nylon, non hygroscopic, and not brittle like hard plastics

Ive got two motors and two cable sets at home. The cable set on the original one is for want of a better word, FUCKED. The set currently inside is good, both motors are operating flawlessly. Its got me stumped bigtime. I do remember one thing though, running along the cable [and i cbf pulling the doortrim off right now]. Like a small u bolt running on the cable. Just floating, not attached to anything. Could it be that?

mmm, dude

see the bit in the centre of the rail that moves up and down, where that lil knob thing hooks into, that'll be your problem, mine came out and the window slid straigh down, make sure that bit goes in properly or your up sht creek..

i have the whole assembly out of mine with a broken cable thingy, can send to you if you pay postage.

yes, that part is what came loose/unhooked on mine and caused the window to fall to the bottom. could just well be your problem..

from analyzing the window slider mech those side clips look to only be stabalisers, mine have ALOT of play in them and the window works fine.
