I would check that your pressure reg is not set to high..
This combined with the VL pump could be throwing to much fuel through the injectors and the computer is not able to adjust them down far enough.

Also check temp rating of your sparkplugs. They could be too cold.
Sideways by choice!!!!!

Sorry Mike - the thread is dead.

I'd like to know the solution the Ninja found, but it's been or being sold (quite cheaply relatively speaking) - hence my comment...

Nah your the only one thats going cheap round here pete. lol

I think you will find that if the TPS is not adjusted correctly or working correctly the thing will run like a bucket of puss.

The G161Z head on the G200Z bottom end should effect it very little, its only bumping the compression up a bit, so it still should run fine mixtures the only issue you may have would be it knocking at high load.

I think they should be BPRES11 plugs.
And have you done a compression test just in case?

I would suspect the fuel pressure being too high as well.
The fuel reg wont do jack if the fuel return line is not big enough or has some sort of restriction.

If you have swapped over AFM's i doubt it would be that. Being ECGI i would have thought it would have a hot wire.

If you want a manual for it, buy an impulse one from the states. All they got was ECGI. I got one a while back, didnt cost much. About $30 or so.

But Bob - it worked okay in his mate's car....
Same engine, same head, same non-AFM and same (non?) O2 sensor...
Therefore it shouldn't run rich here.

I was gonna send the O2 data but thought I'd suggest he test it with a multimeter. (He is an (auto?) electrician after all.)

But it is selling...

C'mon buyers - it's had well over $10,000 invested!

Just for info, the G200z piazzas in NZ came out with ECGI but I have never seen a hot wire AFM, they are all flappy plates that stick like shit when they have been sitting around and the contacts on the plug are notorious for getting the green goop on them. A quick CRC of both usually fixes them.
If it is still suspect a carefull prizing off of the top cover reveals the workings and the old crc on the running strips can help

But xxxxx on BellettNet said ... hotwire....

LOL! Just can't resist having a go at KIAs that blow their own objection and arguments to shreds, and then blame the OP (with whom they now agree)!

Whilst all-electronic I-TECs predated the recalcitrant Aussie mech-dizzy Piazza ECGI (turbo) 4zc1-t and the all-electronic equivalent 4ZE1s (Rodeos & Jackaroos), the pre-4ZE1s were flappy's - not hot-wire.

I still vote he checks the parts he has added to it since he but it off his mate....

1st job should be to eliminate parts he has changed from when it was running correctly..
