What size tyres is everyone running on the standard rims? Ive got 205/**/14 on the back without any issues, im up for a set of fronts which are currently 195/**/14 [forget the profile, will check later]. Can i go 205 or 215 on the front [and with what profile] or am i going to have trouble with scrubbing? The car is standard height but wont be later.

Standard Piazza size is 195/14-60 but 205/14/60 are okay and are standard on the Irmsher models and an optional size on the others so they should not present any problem

Ive got one with 205/60s on the std rims, all the other std rims have 195/60's on them.

On the 15/7's, ive got 195/50/15 on the front, im thinking of ditching those tyres and using either the 195/55's or the 195/60's ive got here. the 50's just look way too small. I wont know till i get the front bumper back on.
Ive got 205/60/15's under the back of it and they fit no drama. I rekon 215's or even 225's would fit.

front 195/60/14
rear 205/60/14

i lowered from rear 205/70/14

im feeling like putting both front and rear 215/70/14 to improve rpm in 5th gear
i hate cruising 60mph @ 2670rpm.....

Yes and no, it isn't just about the wheel size, Technically you can fit 18" rims as long as the tyre profile is such that you retain the same sort of outside diameter or rolling radius if you prefer. The first thing you need to take into account is the width of the tyre, you can fit 205's easily, you might manage 215's but when you jack the car up you will find 215's will contact the shock absorbers. Unless you change the offset to compensate and then you have the sidewall outside the guard so you need to flare them out to be legal. assuming you did that you could fit 215/30-18's but they will be only 2.5" sidewall and have no give. this will make the car hard to live with on corners, especially in the wet and it will probably look naff as well. Go to one of these mag wheel outfits with a picture of your car and they can use their gizmo machine to let you see images of what it will look like with different options. But don't forget the offset issue and tyre touch problems. Particularly when on full lock where you may contact the inner guard, tear into your brake hoses etc etc. All sorts of things to bear in mind. Take experty advice first and save yourself the grief of buying wheels and tyres you can't use. Don't listen to your mates brothers cousin in tasmania who knows everything...he is actually a dickhead who knows nothing!

yeah i knew flaring the gards would deffinantly be a must, the only thing i was concerned about was the clearance at full lock. however you have raised a good point with the issue of compromising the brake lines safety.
