Switching digital/analogue instrument pod

Post by DMZ »

Has anyone switched an analogue pod with the digital one? Or vice versa?

Just got a digital unit I think quite cheaply and wondered what mods were required. Not sure if I will fit it but I got it anyway because why not. !

The plugs are completely different, digital uses rectangular plugs and the analogue uses round plugs. So you'd have to swap the plugs if you can get the correct plugs for the digital dash.

I have an analog that replaced a digi. I never completed the mapping, but I recall a series resistor for the fuel gauge.
One original connector was completely replaced (cut & rejoin) and the other as butchered.
