If it is a digital dash I haven't a clue but on analogue ones the voltmeter, temp and fuel gauge, taco etc share a power source so it isn't likely to be a fuse or diode if they are the only two not working. There is a resistor on the back of analogue units which I thought was only on the fuel gauge circuit but maybe the temp is on the downhill side of that and it is playing up. It's purpose I believe is to smooth out the signals from the tank unit to stop the needle dancing on corners and up and down hills etc.

Might just be a loose connector plug on the back of the cluster.
