So Im building the 88 jr by my self and wanted to know if there was anyone on here that would like to have a little in put in how things are done with the build I will very open to how the car will look, sound, handel, drive, and preforme, ect...

I know that I should start off by telling you whats wrong with the car before we get into the build right?

From what I can see I need:

New brake pads, calipers, rotors, lines, clucth pedel is frozen to the floor borad, I think Im gonna get a new turbo for the car, I need all new lines, new tires, fuel pump, fuel lines, water pump, spark plugs wires, cap, rotor molding for the sun roof, ect....

I mean alot of stuff. Im am willing to pay to have alot of the hard to find stuff shipped here to me if it comes down to it...so

Add your in-put this is your car as well... in a sence...lol

sounds like you've got a rather large project on your hands.... this is why I'm looking for a piazza that allready runs.

I am thinking about getting another one if this guy will come down on the price a lil bit...I just like these cars...

Sounds good, I will be starting next week for sorceing parts and working on the car... Im gonna put up video and also pic's of the things I have done, And also credit those of you who have given me eaither info or access to parts and or support...

Hey thats cool, unlike most of the Arab world and most of the Asian world, in fact most of the world in general, we don't hate Americans, we sometimes call them Yanks, mostly we lovingly refer to them as "septic tanks" Old english cockney rhyming slang. No offence intended, if any is taken then

"harden the F--K up". LOL

Thats an austrailian expression invented by a an old Ozzie Icon not famous for his loving and caring ways, often used as a term of endearment intended to encourage the affected party to take a more stoic view of life.

Clucth pedel is frozen to the floor.. what to do?
On RHD cars the cross link bar is notorious for seizing up. If they seize in the up position and you force it the link bar breaks off at the weld so don't force it up either. remove the clevis and then the master cylinder to eliminate the cylinder itself as the problem, which it could be. If still seized you may have to take the whole cross link bracket out to fix it up. That means dash out and steering column out so try the master cylinder first. If you need to do the other thing just ask, I have done it a few times and there are some tricky little bolts that will fuck with your head if you don't know where they are hiding.

With the clutch check the slave on the box as well.

If the car has been sitting the piston can gum or jamb up in the bore.


Probably a good idea to pull of both the master and the slave and either kit them or replace them. Both can be bought new in the US.

You can also get brake parts new fairly easy. Im pretty sure most are up on ebay. Parts for the calipers to have them overhauled would not be hard to get either.
