Searching for parts...stereo, interior ++

Post by palazzo »

I'm looking for an original stereo for my 1984 Piazza
Also wanted: rear luggage shelf, original steering wheel, and other interior details.

Anyone?

put up your location, I can maybe help with a couple of bits depending where you are. If it is 1984 it can't be an aussie car or a pommie car as they didn't get them until much later so you must be in NZ or the States? In 1984 they had the AM/FM tuner and a separate but linked cassette player which also had the front and rear fade control. Right left balance controlled by the tuner.

Just occurred to me you may also be somewhere in continental Europe as they were released earlier in some countries there. In any case if you buy a tuner set up from any other country than your own you need to check it has the correct receiving band for your locality. Nobody cares aboiut AM so that isn't a problem but the standard in NZ for example is 88Mhz-108Mhz where the Japanese bandwidth is only 76Mhz-90Mhz but you can fit band expanders as a compromise if you get one of those.
