How does it maintain the height in the front, anything done with the suspension? Make shure to check out isuzone and isuzu piazza turbo fanpage on facebook, a bit more going on there these days.

and oh, the grille you need is all in one piece. the bottom goes out to the feners on both sides. and its not the same one as the 88 and 89MY. Isuzone.org on facebook would be the place to ask for parts!

Welcome and thanks for the pics. Apart from the obvious engine upgrade, who did the custom bonnet?

Thanks Guy's. I have joined facebook pages, I have no idea who did the scoop on the bonnet I'd guess the one who did the swap as it is old. I don't know the weight of the G series 4 cylinder but it has to be close to or slightly lighter than the Buick v6 @375lbs.
It has bigger sway bars from the turbo model I believe, stock or turbo model springs and I see KYB gas shocks. The entire rear suspension is modified. Has a 3rd or 4th Gen GM F body axle housing narrowed and stock axle tubes with spring buckets welded on and I assume the stock axles. It has a shortened F body torque arm and custom crossmber on chassis for it.

It is equipped with a Borg Warner T50 5 speed. I have to run the part number to find the exact ratios. This trans was used in low displacement v8's and v6's from mid 70's into the 80's. The Tremec T5 trans replaced the T50.
