lol can you get a higher quality scan of that?

The videos were posted on isuzone a while back someone got the vhs tapes off ebay and put them on the computer. Too bad they didn't do any stunts like they did with the JT Geminis..

I like the complete ripoff of Gone in 60 seconds (original) good movie should see it if you haven't. Has something like a 1 hour car chase with that Mustang.

at the moment I don't have a scanner but will rectify that in the near future. I have just about every print ad for the US Impulse, plus a dealer booklet for the 88 as well as a UK Piazza brochure. and I was once accidently shipped a textbook for factory technicians containing specs on pretty much every Isuzu petrol motor made. before I returned it I spent an hour at a copy machine. :yawinkle:

I'll post all this as soon as I can.

yeah, classic 70's musclecar shit! that was actually the 1st in a trilogy by the same director - H.B. Halicki. I believe his second movie 'The Junkman' holds the Guiness record for most car crash stunts in a movie.

LMFAO at that itsaimpuse movie. I love how the talking is out of sync.

Hows the 2.3L same power as the 2L turbo going by what they said.

Whats up with the bonnet??? The raised hood bubble on the RH side for the inlet, would that be for the higher 2.3L motor???? But they said one was a turbo, so would it be for all of the latter model ones (post 86)???

Impulsive Yank, what year were they on about??? Would be post 86 wouldnt it. Say 87 or 88??? Ive got the 86 factory book here and its only got the G200Z and the turbo engine info. I wouldnt mind getting the engine book/info for the 2.3L. Id like to get my hands on a 2.3L ECU and loom as well. There was a cheap one on eBay a while back.

Im definately chasing up an I-TEC turbo setup. I want one. Ive got my mate in the UK chasing up that Piazza thats on eBay to score me some good bits off it if it goes cheap enough.

Cheers. bob.

Yeah i've got The Junkman DVD as well lots of smashed cars not as good as Gone in 60 secs though.

Bob your computer sux it's in sync on mine

The turbos have the hump as well they're 88/89 models. All non eyelid bonnets had the hump to the side.
I've got an Impulse "Its beauty increases with speed" brochure i'll have to scan it got some good pics, 110hp@5000rpm would be a bit of a slug!

Fark that Piazza on ebay has some rust!

Saw your question it's I-TEC.. Easy way to tell is the hot wire airflow meter.

You'd probably need the whole wiring harness to convert it. There'd be no point either since the flapper afm version has more power.

Yeah that was the idea. The lot, loom and all. More the Lotus spec suspension im thinking.

I was also thinking that the I-Tec would hanlde a boost up better than the ECGI. Dunno, opinions would be good on that.

Plus if ive got the I-Tec turbo ECU you can read the flash cips in it. :yawinkle: :yawinkle:

I told my mate to buy it and then go buy an Opel Kadett. lol. Hes a rev head, if i was at his joint and we were having a few beers i could talk him into it in no time.

Yeah i got excited, its 110HP not KW. lol. Damn Yankees living in the darkages of measurements.

Ive neve heard of the Junkman movie or watched the original Gone in 60 seconds. I do have Bullit in my collection here, and i can say ive never watched the whole movie. lol.

Original gone in 60 seconds is awesome, but damn the GT500 looks ugly compared to the modern remake.

That's because it's not a GT500 it's a later model Mach-1 or some shit.. Earlier ones look heaps better.
