Matt's Piazza

Post by Bugle »

I thought this was funny, all happened within the space of a bit over a year?

Yeah so Matt had it.
Then Chris bought it off Matt.
Buckna bought it off Chris.
Buckna sold it to someone.
That someone swapped it for a charade turbo (wtf?) http://www.ozgemini.com/forums/non-tech ... ght=piazza
New owner sells it here to 'bigpig' http://www.boostcruising.com/forums/ind ... &hl=piazza
3 days later and bigpig has it up for sale, and sold today http://www.boostcruising.com/forums/ind ... 190703&hl=
Wonder if this is the last we'll hear of this car!

Yeah was just thinking that! Whats wrong with the car. Did someone die in it? is it haunted? or its it quite simply a lemon?
If Gemini's were ever meant to go fast, they would have come out of the factory with 4zc1t engines!!

The car was fine apart that the head was cracked and been driven like this for awhile. So their would be more internal damages.

Big bucks to spent to get her back on the road.

You can't blame me anyways, their isnt one piazza that lastet longer than a month with me.

Ah c'mon Chris, if you remember to put oil in the oily hole and water in the watery hole they might last a bit longer for you. :finga:

Ah Well Chris there is only one solution to your problem, get yourself a G200 manual and tune it to go quick because the G200 is bullet proof, and probably Chris proof as well, if you remember the bit about oil and water checks. One of ours had clicked up 338,000km when we got it and it IS the original engine.

I stripped it down and all it needed was rings and bearings and a valve grind.
It has done 10,000km since and still going strong uses no water and has only used one litre of oil. Getting oil change this week and the oil is still so clean I can re use it in my oil hungry lawnmower.

The older grey one has clicked up 259,000km, gave it a valve grind a month or so back and pistons and bores seem good and it uses no water or oil AT ALL. It is also the original donkey.

If you are truly cursed then remind me to never let you near any of mine.

I don't mean to gloat....bugger it yes I do!

Im pretty sure the tight bugger did on the water pump. lol.

Its had a brand new gearbag put in it and one of the diffs was re-raced, the fuel pump injectors and turbo have been done. It spent some time in the workshop before we got it, had all new kingpins etc in the front end. Still needs a few things done, but its had maintinace and money thrown at it. Front springs are sagged, its fully sic lowered, lol. Plan is to buy an eingine kit when they come on special and then rebuild it when it suits us.

Avoid putting a gay bodykit on it if possible.. Don't have to be like the Skyline and CRX boys trying to be different to each other Piazza is already different.
