W series Fuel pumps?

Post by CUL8R »

Just a query for you Piazza owners out there, what sort of fuel pumps do a W series motor have originally? Im guessing they're low pressure going by the "fuel rail" they have? And dont have a regulator at the motor end?

Any suitable replacements you've used that work?
Oil leak? What oil leak? That puddle under the car is just sweat from all that horsepower....

I thought this had been answered...

If you mean low pressure as in carby - no way - they are EFI! (G200W that is.)

The 117 G200W specifies 2.55 kg/cm2 and I'd expect the Piazza G200W to be similar. (The 4ZC1-t Piazza is ~2.0 to 2.5 depending on test condition.)

Ask Poida on HolGem else twincam (when it gets un-suspended LOL), else someone like Germinator on OzFem. Germy knows about the Camira et al fuel pumps (N13, VN, etc) else should know what suits (I think Camira is 3 bar).
