I got a picture of it. Pretty shure it got the same nice interor colour as my Lotus Spec!

No problem! The skirts and the spoiler must be some aftermarket stuff.. He has done a good job with the car! I like something different!eyecon wrote:Oh yeah. It adds so much more class. Those scissor doors look sexy as. If I had one and I was cashed up (note the two problems with that sentence) I would totally consider doing it.
And Chris's is supposedly mint as, but the result of that was I was too poor and he loves it too much to part for it at my highest bid (fair enough)
bob's isn't tooo much work off of "pristine", just it's unregistered.... I think he is also not selling now.
aaaand after all those cars I turned down a rather crappy one appeared in adelaide (that I was considering buying if i could talk the dude down on price), but I suddenly was out of town for 3 weeks and missed the boat.

Harden up, converting to manual is a piece of piss on the Piazza. It damn well does it for you. You need:
gearbag, flywheel, clutch kit, clutch master and slave cylinders, pedal box, flywheel, gear lever boot and clamping ring,
What to do:
Take out the slush box and biff it, remove the carefully provided blanking plate on the fire wall Mr Isuzu put there for the purpose of fitting your master cylinder, rip off the flex plate and remove the crank nose ring. bang in a $10 spigot bearing, fit a bridge plug to the auto lock out connecter and fanny is your auntie. You will also have to trim a bit out of the tunnel aperture sideways for lever swing room and use the second set of holes in the chassis (again provide by Mr Isuzu) for the box crossmember which sits slightly further back. It is a one day job if you know what you are doing and a two day job when you are finding your way.
Also don't listen to all the wearie willies withering on about changing the ECU. That is crap it doesn't give a monkeys curse which tranny you have.
If you get an original turbo slave cylinder DON'T wire up the solenoid valve on the end, it is there to prevent you dropping the clutch in first gear. The wiring is linked to a switch in the first gear selector. You CAN drop the clutch of course but the valve restricts fast fluid movement so it will not spin up the rear and that is no fun at all.
Are all the parts hard to get I hear you ask? Not in my back yard! I have everything needed for a conversion, even down to the wiring bridge plug and a new clutch kit, so everytbing is easy to get. The only hard bit is the cash, Oh and you kinda need a car as well, i'm sure all the bits you need can be got in OZ easily as well so if you come across a mint auto grab it for fucks sake.
