Methinks you have an earth wire not making good contact but it could also be the main relay under the black box lid, if you want to try substituting I've got shit loads of relays but get a test lamp and go looking for earth faults, never use a straight jumper wire as if you hit a hot one to earth you will fry something but with a test lamp the the only thing that happens is it lights up and saves all the smoke leaking out of your wires. Check your fusible links as well, it is not unknown for one to be severed but making contact now and again. Switch on some things and go for a fiddle, once you have finished fiddling with yourself start wriggling some wires around instead and see if anything comes to life. It will be something silly. Be methodical, pick one item that isn't working and trace through the circuit because when you find the problem it will probably be the cause of all the problems. It can't be that bad if it starts and runs so it certainly sounds isolated to an individual power source which isn't ECU, fuel circuit or ignition. Yell out if you need more help.

Id say by the sounds of it your Radio is powered either direct from the battery or from the ECU circit. Id be looking to see where its power comes from. If it gets it from the fuse box you have got some weird shit going on.

maybe your turbo is set to kick in at just before 3000 revs. check any circuits relating to the turbo and ecu.
If Gemini's were ever meant to go fast, they would have come out of the factory with 4zc1t engines!!

Battery is on the charger???? Why??? is it flat??? Is it stuffed??? Is the alternator charging ok???

If the regulator is stuffed that could do what you describe. A radio draws stuff all current all the other goodies will draw heaps. He the radio will possibly work with 3 or 4 volts of supply and the other shit wont. Possibly the ECM can draw its power thru the battery rather than the signal from the alternator.

Or its possibly the alternator isnt switching to power the ignition circuits properly. Its got to spin to 3K before it does.

Id first get the battery checed out so that its ok.
The id get the alternator checked to know its ok.
