Yeah he pulled the bumper off today while waiting for me to get my sorry arse over there.
I think he said there was something else that i had to pass on to you.

Make sure you get the head checked out well for cracks. Top and bottom.

But it still could be condensation, it would take a few hours of running at operating temp to burn out the moisture from sitting around.

Does the oil still look ok in the sump????

So you got a Nero grille how come you didn't get the headlights and bonnet to go with it?

Yeah bob i'm such a Piazza Nerd i'll spot any details like that especially battery brackets. Someone even asked me why my Piazza says "PIAZZA NERD" on the back of it

LOL Piazza Nerd.

Thomas the car the stuff came off didnt have the nero bonnet and lights, otherwise beleive me theyd be mine too. Ill eventually try and find a set of square headlights, might have to contact matt and see if he can reveal which ones suit. Im tipping early Sigma...

Didnt even notice the fuel rail, havent paid attention because of all the wiring and crap there.

I could take one of my ones to the wreckers and check out what cars are similar.

Don't think sigma would be any good take a look at this pic the inside light on the Piazza is a fair bit infront of the outside one sigma are almost side by side.

Maybe scorpion? Looks like it might be closer than sigma

All faded and dirty and shit, but looks alot tuffer now. "da :bom: ". Proper cut and polish might get the paint back on the hatch, ive buffed worse with good results.

Gearbox mounts, shifter, a bit of wiring and exhaust left and she should start. Pic is obviously old because the radiator is now in etc. Which leads to my question...

????? The alternator earths by its bolts to the block and the block i earthed to the body usually on the right hand side down close to the slave cylinder. The alternator usually only has the three wire plug and the double power supply wires on th "B" stub. Nothing else unless you got a strange one. You may have a noise supresser attached as well but it contained on the back plate.

Vacuum hose diagram should be easy enogh to get from someone, if stuck I have a picture of one.

Picture would be good Alex. Im assuming its the alternator earth im looking for - its a spade connection with a washer that goes over a threaded post, and a bolt is then thrown on to make contact. That what you on about?

If it is I CANT FIND THAT FREAKING WIRE

FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARK NO, don't for the love of whatever god you worship connect an earth to that post. You should have two heavy duty white wires terminating in an eyelet to go over that post which should be marked "B" That is your main charge wire from alt back to the battery and to your main power supply. If you earth that and start the car you have fried the alternator, trust me. From the battery positive terminal if you check your fusible lnks you find the other end of one of those heavy white wires. This pair of wires comes out the same loom as the three wire plug, it has to be there, unless I am misunderstanding what you say. Hope these help but remember these are JR not YB, should be the same

First one you posted is for a 4XE1wt out of a JT191s 4WD Turbo, not sure where you got that one from. DOHC cam cover, intercooler location and CAS are the giveaways.

Bottom one is the one im after, thanks alex.

And yeah, i remember the white wires just cant find them in the car anywhere?

It is out of later model FWD PA Nero, sent to confuse you, not really, just in case anyone else wanted a look like poida and his DOHC crowd. Those wires should come out of the same loom as the main alt plug unless someone has been messing with it. Start at the battery and follow from there would be best bet
