Thanks for the reply matey. Im just after the plastic trim that sits externally to the crank, waterpump. It seems common for the belt to gouge into the cover so I was thinking, could I use another model's cover but trim it down due to the C1's shorter block? Seems a little MacGyver, but i'd rather t...

Timing Belt Cover

Hey guys,

Seeing that my lower belt cover has been chewed out, I got thinking... Could I trim down a D1 / E1 lower cover to fit the C1?

It's rather hard finding someone who wants to part with that cover and is not in the same state as mine :p

As our fellow Kiwi suggested it was the bearing stuck on the spline. I had removed the gearbox quite a while ago and tortured that bearing by towing it a bit of the way to freo and ditching it at a ship. Hopefully it wont harm anyone again in the future... unless I hit someone on that ship, or they ...

Brad its cable. Its fully disengauged.

Shes held/stuck by the input shaft, and wont go back in either.
I was going to take the whole engine/box out as one, but now cant do that.

I presume my newish clutch is screwed by the amount of play with thing has... BUT it will not come off.
