When we were in the UK I bought her an '85 Porsche 944 that was in similar condition (actually it was even nicer). Within a couple of months she'd backed into a barrier in a car park and put a small but obvious dent in the rear panel and clonked the front trying to get out of an awkward driveway, cr...

it seems my missus is getting good at this... she got collected from behind by a bus last week. Again minor damage and at least this time it will be repaired on someone else's insurance, but I tell you I'm not buying her a car with paintwork that nice again....

Btw.. i have no idea why i said shopping center.. me going loco. Ha ha, I was wondering where that came from... The best of all is to mix up a soup of smelly old fish and pour it into the air vents, the smell will NEVER go away so all they can do is sell it and buyers will not pay a lot for a feste...

It's actually quite a minor dent, but it's cracked the paint nicely and of course you can't just paint the dented part. Paint guy reckoned he'd want to do the entire panel, then do some blending in on the bonnet, bumper and door. My missus reckons she saw the car as it drove off, it was a late model...

Grrrr....

My wife was taking a mate's kids to soccer on Saturday morning and some lovely person has driven into the front of the Piazza, putting a nice dent in the driver's side front guard... and then of course driven off without so much as a note. Haven't got any pics, my camera seems to have crapped itself...

Big thanks to Wedgenut!

Just thought I'd put up a public thank you for all of Alex's help on Saturday, even though I managed to accidentally steal his vacuum gauge (it was found still plugged into the inlet plenum when I got home, after Alex had rung up wondering where it was... I would still be driving around in doofus mo...

That would be awfully kind of you, again (what with free aircon parts and now a diagnostic session as well). Ok, I'll make sure I have some time to spend, sounds like you have some nice shiny things for me to admire while there anyway, which I would definitely like to check out. Don't think it's the...

Part-throttle hesitation

So now onto sorting out a few niggles with the car, now I've spent some decent time driving it. One thing that is annoying rather than a bad problem, it seems like there is a part-throttle hesitation, almost a miss at times, especially when required to add in just a touch more welly (like when going...
