Windscreen Cowl replacement rubber seal
On Piazzas the original windscreen cowl consists of 2 lengths of thin rubber weather strips which are glued along the top edge of the cowl (or runs along the bottom of the windscreen). You can appreciate that over time the original factory rubber seal strips naturally perish, and become hard and bri...

Re: Piazza_man project
Couldn’t stand looking at the paint and stone chips on the bumper lower spoiler lip anymore so I decided the front bar needed a freshen-up, especially the lower spoiler sections. The lower spoiler lip is practically impossible to remove from the main bumper assembly, maybe if you had a hoist. A tota...

Re: Modern interpretation of the Piazza
Bit overdue for an update since starting this thread but better late than never hey. These days we have AI to do a fair amount of the grunt work in many facets of our daily lives. So with a bit of help from an AI render/design tool called Viscom, I have put together some AI concept renders from my o...

Re: Piazza_man project
Thanks, not easy trying to de-clutter a Piazza engine bay. Giving it some pop has been a real challenge too.

Re: My Piazza 2 - UK edition
Yeah totally agree about the forum being a good central place to lay out your work in one place. I love being able to put down the finer details for the benefit of other members if interested. Keep going with the progress updates and pics. You may need to consider an aftermarket ECU (or mega squirt ...

Re: My Piazza 2 - UK edition
Thanks for the update, and a forum like this allows you to go more granular if you want. I’m really liking the extra gear, that’s some serious bolt-on kit. Did the exhaust and intake plenum come from Australia? Tell me more about the turbo too ![😍](//twemoji.maxcdn.com/2/svg/1f60d.svg)

Re: Piazza_man project
Been meaning to add some more info and details on the custom airbox work that I designed and made nearly 3 years ago. Sharing in case someone else wants to do the same, or at the very least inspire to do something a little bit different. My car was already equipped with an exposed conical high-flow ...

Re: Piazza_man project
Recently upgraded/converted my instrument cluster and side pods illumination from incandescent to LED. There are a number of colour choices available these days and the idea is to reduce the overall battery voltage load with more efficient, brighter and less voltage load on the system. I find the pr...

Re: Piazza_man project
Due for another update I guess. As per my Facebook posts a few months ago I created exact reproduction artwork for waterslide decals to replace the faded icons on the pod switches. In each set I have included extra (spare) symbols in case you ruin any when attempting to apply them. As the decals are...

Re: My Piazza 2 - UK edition
You can always do what some others have done through this forum, and convert from auto to manual. It may be something worth considering. IPTOC has spare manual gearboxes, parts and the knowledge to help you if decide to go down this route.

Re: Suspension Specs.
:tonqe: funny you mentioned the escort lowering springs and my rears are off Escort MK2 front lowered springs (variable rate). My shocks are Koni though. The springs are slightly different diameter to factory ones which aren’t sitting properly in the factory seats. Ideally want this fixed with new s...
