I found that you have to remove the suround from the centre console the piece with the same material as the dash that comes off with two 8mm nuts underneath the console on on each side they are located pretty much where that suround finishes just past the gear stick then there are two screws on each...

since pulling out the carpet and seats and radio unit and all other bits to get carpet out i have since disconnected i think is a immobilizer or car alarm old 80s style after market one which i thought didn't work and pretty sure it doesn't since then i haven't been able to start it dash lights work...

hey guys i have the same problem Ive tried electronic clean and on the plugs and unit itself pulled it all apart to do so still has the same problem anyone know why? or have one i could have/buy?

cant see any rust holes,im just trying to figured out where the leak is located someone might know a usual place where they leak like could be getting in through the parcel tray or something it might not even be the seal maybe
