Oh yeah, i LUVed my styleside (the other Ruston). For a vehicle i got from a jest and intended to only keep for 12 months i was pretty amazed i had it for 15 years and then only got rid of it for legal reasons. But it proved a great test bed for things to do to my GT, and despite what some allegedly...

Yes -change the whole banjo but you'll probably have to use the Wasp flange for the Wasp - it's a deeper dished flange (so crack its nut before (Wasp) banjo removal). Ditto if the Florian has Bellett diff gears - something us BCCV Treasurers usually did - Florians being 4.1 with Belletts usually ~3....

I may have one but yokes should be available. However they vary. I have 2 - both automatics (which often have a larger spline) but one uses traditional Isuzu (Bellett, Florian etc) 1" UJ (uni-joints) with outside circlips which i'm keeping whilst the other has the typical large diameter UJ caps...

Any Jackaroo or Rodeo diff prior to the 4ZE1 2.6 EFI will fit the Wasp. They are generally all the same ratio (4.55). But I strongly suggest the LSD. I had one in my G161U (Florian) engined Wasp for at least the last 10 years and recommend it - less wheel spin; even more self correcting in slides (b...

Wow - that's quite a pristine example though it doesn't have the G200W i expected for the XC - it's got a GZ engine with "over the top" intake EFI (like Gemini twincams etc) and not the usual out right & forward 117 intake that i'm used to in G200W 117s & its factory G161W EFI prot...

As above - VERY nice! Neat seeing an analog dash - all Aussie GMH Piazza imports had the digidash. Otherwise i'd think you were local - the left hand drive (which is the right side; the right side is the wrong side!) and i'd swear one of your other pics is from my local train station (it's not only ...

Not sure on newer MSG boxes, but i suspect the same as earlier - gears do not interchange.

The 180HP would have used the standard box - ie, i doubt there was any special box for the 180HP.

Have you got a running Piazza whose gear ratios you are not happy with?

Hi Mark, Anyone else with better knowledge should chime in and correct - i'm running on old memory... 1. MSG sounds right, and maybe the 5T. MSGs have the split gearbox with a central vertical sandwich or bearing/gear-retainer plate; their RHS & LHS startermotor bells can be interchanged (noting...

Is it specifically for the Piazza (4ZC1)? I have several early clutches (course spline) but should have a few fine splines. That's if you want to arrange pick up from Melbourne...

PS - normally i'd ask WHY and then probably try to talk you out of it.

Who's the wiseguy that said 95% of electrical faults were... Damned JIGJAMers! Good to hear that it's probably an external fault rather than something in the dash. The problem wire is probably black-red (black with red trace) - that's the standard "points" wire color used by Isuzu - ie fro...

I bought my Florians for less than that... mind you, these days they'd over a few $thousand each. And yesterday i was offered $100 EACH for GT Bellett tail light lenses - 3 lenses per side, that's $600! What a shame i gave the last away and the rest were exported... (ha ha). Ooops- don'tcha hate how...

Good find.
And only $500!

Let's hope it's a loose connection or cracked track or component.

Then it's a typical modern integrated tacho - not separate gauges etc. First i'd suggest a wiring check as per above - ie disconnect & reconnect; especially the 2 round connectors to the instrument cluster... Or trying another cluster, or maybe another tacho etc. After that depends on how DYI yo...

POST EDIT: Ah Clyde - i should have noted the OP's name. Bad habits never change LOL! I guess therefore my crap about the digidash was in vain... but i'll leave it below FWIW. Normally i'd say get another tacho - eg from a similar vintage Rodeo or Jackaroo etc - but that assumes traditional separate...
