AH HA! So it is YOU that has compromised the security of this site! I'm telling my Mother! Ha ha. Merely curious, but was IPTOC's application independent or as a result of this thread? Either way I'm glad IPTOC see them as worthwhile etc. As intimated, thought I hate spam, I didn't mind Opie Oils' C...

I agree it sounds legit so it's merely the spam aspect though I appreciate their PM for an individual to organise etc rather than the usual blanket post/thread to all. IMO that puts it above mere spam. As to the right to advertise etc - what right does someone have NOT to tell us of some new magic s...

PS - no harm in preventatively replacing things. Well, usually not. (There is the adage "if it ain't broke..." but that is selective!) I would always replace ignition parts (points & condensor (not that the Piazza has them!), rotor & cap; splugs; maybe leads) and belts - and usuall...

I'd say not, but if it was I'd be checking battery etc. Get a DMM if you haven't already got one. Alternator belts can be quite slack and still operate fine (as I find out when my brackets broke - albethat on a different Isuzu with less electronics). Belt slippage almost always involves belt squeal....

IMO 90-95% of electrical problems are "simply" solved by disconnecting and reconnecting relevant connectors. That includes ROTATING fuses (same sized of course!). [I used to merely remove & check and replace but rotating a faulty or intermittent fuse makes the cause more obvious - even...

Congrats! And thanks heaps for the update - very timely indeed... This week I was approached about a Piazza for interim use which may become a more permanent G200W vehicle... Hopefully it won't happen - it's yet another car though a modern one that I can easily & legally put a G200W in to - but ...

BTW - don't forget to pull out the gearstick. Not that I've forgotten for decades, but I did... twice! And of course check the disconnection of all wiring, cables, links, exhaust etc. And block off the rear of the gearbox - maybe after draining the gearbox oil. (TIP: Ensure you can undo the gearbox ...

Tho I think I split my Piazzas, that was for engine removal. I always prefer pulling engine and gearbox as a unit because getting gearbox shafts thru clutch plates can be a female canine even when the plate is properly aligned. The same may apply to torque converters. Plus getting to gearbox-engine ...

Whoa - I haven't got the parts yet AND I'll have to review what you were after. If it was a thanks in anticipation , fine, but me and schedules are on different timelines. I used to procrastinate by these days I couldn't be bothered. And thanks for the shop manual pics offer but no for now. In fact ...

She's looking good! Congrats on the parts but commiserations on the smalls that didn't come thru. Incidentally I might have some of those odd trims but they'll be grey and I've been hoping to avoid posting. Actually I've been avoiding my rear yard and any vehicle sparts searches, but now I am gettin...

Nah - I'd probably bust the gearbox - the output shafts were being twisted and that was with no burnouts or clutch drops; merely off the line in 1st & then into 5th.
But now with an LSD... Figure it out - 390Nm at 3k RPM.
