Police, immigration and Min of ag on both sides of the Tasman are watching out for a reported illegal immigrant. With no passport, Visa or work permit he is suspected of illegal importation of foreign giftware and banned food items. Also in question is the importing of live animals without a permit or quarantine procedures being followed. His vehicle also does not comply with NZ frontal impact standards or Australian regulations for imported vehicles. The police too are looking to question him about several home invasions in past years and hope to apprehend him before he strikes again. If spotted do not approach this con artist as any contact is likely to leave you out of pocket, and certainly do not let him near your chldren as there is a history of him offering chocolate and the like in return for sitting on his lap.
