hi just wondering if anyone has run their piazzaa down the 1/4
if so what mods did you have and what time did you run?

i have run my piazza twice down the 1/4 first time no mods i scored 16.875 @ 129.8km's

the second time just a week ago i run 10 psi boost and a pod airfilter and got 15.660 @142.57
i plan to run eastern creek again in 2 or 3 weeks once i get my fuel pump beacause the one i have now is playing up and making the car run shit.

To be fair, the Piazza was lineball with the fastest of its category. Standard performance figures in magazines ranged in the 16.1-16.3 mark. This places it quicker then the Starion Turbo, Cordia Turbo, ET Turbo, Alfa GTV6, RX7 Series IV Non Turbo, VL Calais Turbo and others. The only thing at the time substantially faster was the non turbo Mark III Supra and Z31 300ZX Turbo.

You forgot the FWD twin cam celica, nick.

The article i have puts it on par.

Modern motor july 86
Compared these three amongst other things was the standing 400m.
Piazza 16.51
Mazda RX-7 sport 16.58
Celica twin cam 16.37

So yeah the celica is faster. But to stick up for the Piazza its more than 100kg heavier.

If i had spent the money on my piazza as you had on your gemini i bet it would win. my piazza is basically stock. once i get some real mods she go hard!!!!!

Hey guys i know this aint a piazza, but my gem with a piazza motor in it ran a pb of 13.7 on 10 psi.

Remember it is in a Gemini - its roughly 300kg lighter so standard ECU or not it should still comfortably run a 14 with 10psi on board...
