Poor Idle

Unfortunately (silly me) my Piazza run out of petrol and when I filled it up, can not get it to fun smoothly (idols @ 700rpm and then dies).
As I am no mechanic, I would like some feedback to rectify this please.
I assume it could be blocked jets or the fuel filter clogged (from crap at the bottom of the tank).
Any other ideas?
