Don't quite understand what the numbers in the brackets mean but Piazza (6) has the MSG-5N ratios, the Piazza (13) has the MSG-5H ratios, and the Piazza (4,5) has the MSG-5X ratios (appeared in the JDM '81.5 Piazzas and probably on the NZ destined Piazzas). Still doesn't tell me if the 5N or 5H is Oz spec.

Thanks Bugle. Not that I'm in desperate need for parts because I already have a rebuilt tranny, but I'm trying to source suppliers in the States for the benefit of our forum members. But damn the 5N would be a pretty good replacement if I can't source any 5H parts. I gotta say 5N parts is just as hard to source at this time. Anyway I'll wait and see what these 2 suppliers say.

Sorry - my bad. I omitted all the notes - ie, bracketed numbers that denote references etc.

The notations are as follows:

(4) World Cars 1984 & 1985 – Japan Isuzu Piazza 120HP – 1984 XJ, XL, Belia & 1985 ditto & XN).
(5) World Cars 1984 & 1985 – Japan Isuzu Piazza 135HP – 1984 & 1985 XG, XE.
(6) World Cars 1985 (only) – Japan Isuzu Piazza 180HP – 1985 XE & XS.
(13) Piazza Workshop Manual (ie, the GMH workshop manual as per Mr P's "Piazzamanual.pdf"
