As the topic says i need pistons that can handle more boost than the orginial pistons...

Forget that, too costly to change pistons over, 30-50 bux should get you a copper head shim for a g200 and a little bottle of decent sealant. Job done, run the highest octane you can get and don't over boost it. G200's go like a thing possessed when turboed.

G200's dont take too well to high boost turbo.

The std compression cast pistons and the boost they will take are a good match for the distance between the bores.
If you put in better pistons you can bet the $1000 they cost that you will keep blowin the head gasket out between 1&2 or 3&4 cylinders where the gasket is thin.
Std compression stockie motors even blow the gaskets out.


If youve got a Piazza like your name suggests your better off going with a 4Z motor.

correct, they do and it is always on the block side, not the head side of the gasket. When you fit the copper shim you glue it on both sides so that it not only bonds to the block it also bonds to the underside of the gasket. I had to do this on one of my engines as it had been decked several times and the pistons were actually sneaking out the top of the bore by the thickness of the gasket almost and the head had been planed as well. It was at the stage that they would have smacked the head without doing something. Even with the shim the comp is still higher than standard but has done over 10k and no head problems. We aint talking Nostik her, it is a purpose designed adhesive for this sort of assembly issue, it looks like snot, smells like shite. Can't recall the name of it but can find out if anyone is interested, maybe its called crapaldite

Nah its a bit more up spec than hylomar, yankee stuff called Dynatex, aviation grade, lets face it you don't want the head gasket leaking on your Jumbo jet now do ya

that Hylomar is aviation grade as well.

Yep - Hylomar invented by Rolls Royce and used to enable the reuse of Spitfire etc head gaskets during WW2.
And Spitfires used petrol unlike jets that use pissweak kerosene. LOL.
