Are they internal or external I'm getting a Bosch 040 for free but it's an internal one

I got an after market elec. pump. I go check tomorrow when its day light and tell you what I have.. if that helps.

External, mounted on the RHS of the car just in front of the diff.

Mounted with it is a small plastic 'surge' tank and a small low pressure pump and its all got a metal cover over it.
